You will play a critical role in the securities settlement process by ensuring smooth and accurate trade execution. Your responsibilities will include: - Ensuring all trade details are pre-matched before settlement to minimize discrepancies - Implementing a fails management system to address and resolve settlement discrepancies promptly - Supervising the settlements process to ensure timely and precise execution while adhering to regulatory standards - Conducting reconciliations to validate financial records and address any discrepancies swiftly - Identifying and implementing opportunities for efficiency enhancements in settlement processes - Managing Securities Borrowing and Lending (SBL) collateral processes to ensure compliance - Handling the conversion processes for American Depositary Receipts (ADR) and Global Depositary Receipts (GDR) efficiently - Participating in project initiatives and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to enhance operational effectiveness Qualifications required: - Graduation with at least 4 years of experience in securities, banking, or a related industry - Strong knowledge of European, Asian, and US equity and fixed income products - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for senior management interaction - Ability to multitask and manage priorities effectively - Capable of building rapport with local offices, brokers, and clients - Self-motivated with a strong eagerness to learn and take on challenges - Proactive in pursuing growth opportunities and mentoring others, adaptable to changes in project management Additionally, candidates with experience in sell-side brokerage operations or familiarity with commonly used operations systems in the securities industry will be preferred. Candidates with less experience will be considered for the role of Associate Security Settlements.,
