Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Knowledge of Various Fuels, combustion processes, engines, burning processes and Soil Testing methods.
Operation and maintenance of Power Generating equipment's and its auxiliaries and preparation for preventive maintenance jobs and execution.
Ensure Zero breakdown of powerhouse equipment's.
Ability to plan & carry out start-stop operation and synchronization of GAS/HFO DG Sets. Operate generator sets and supply power to the plant in case of grid failure.
Ability to take action during troubleshooting on an urgent basis.
Maintain and update Electrical/ Mechanical Spares & consumable stock inventory
Ensure availability of spare parts and consumables for the smooth running of the Power plant at all times.
Maintain record of issued material from the stores.
Ensure safe work practices.
Ensure use of proper PPEs
Ensure Housekeeping (5-S procedures) of Powerhouse area.
Ensure adherence to safety norms and procedures
Ensure safe handling of all men, machines & material
To maintain all powerhouse records as per ISO guidelines.
Co-ordination of internal and external powerhouse audits.
Ability to perform all required maintenance works including emergency repairs, assembly and overhauling activities

Preferred candidate profile

B. E/ Mechanical/Electrical & Electronic Engineering with minimum 03 -06 years of experience in relevant field.
