Officer Credit Risk Analyst

As a Credit Risk Analyst II at Citi, you will have the opportunity to apply your specialty area knowledge in monitoring, assessing, analyzing, and evaluating processes and data. Here is a summary of what you can expect in this role: **Role Overview:** - Apply specialty area knowledge in monitoring, assessing, analyzing, and evaluating processes and data - Identify policy gaps, formulate policies, interpret data, and make recommendations - Research and interpret factual information, identify inconsistencies in data or results, and define business issues - Develop a working knowledge of industry practices and standards with limited but direct impact on the business **Key Responsibilities:** - Assess the credit and financial strength of Citis counterparts by performing fundamental credit analysis using quantitative and qualitative factors - Complete Credit Analysis Write-up Memos and Final Obligor Risk Ratings of Citis Counterparties based on independent assessment - Continuously monitor the covered portfolio, follow industry trends, and escalate potential credit issues - Partner with regional and industry stakeholders in implementing credit assessment and monitoring standards - Support ICG Risk Analysis Voice of the Employee (VOE) initiatives - Travel (less than 10%) **Qualifications Required:** - Fundamental analytical skills with an understanding of key financial components - Basic knowledge of financial statements, GAAP accounting, and industry research capabilities - Understanding of Credit Policy and procedures, ability to identify potential risk issues, and escalate them promptly - Proven ability to build relationships, influence, manage time effectively, and communicate clearly - Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) **Education:** - BA/BSc or higher degree in Business (MBA) or any related subject If you join Citi as a Credit Risk Analyst II, you will be part of a global family dedicated to making a real impact.
