We are looking for an experienced and proactive Office Manager to oversee the overall administrative and operational functions of our civil engineering firm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing office staff, maintaining discipline, ensuring smooth coordination between management and employees, and supporting the engineering team for efficient project execution. Candidates with experience in the civil/construction industry will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Office Administration & Operations: Manage day-to-day office activities, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
  • Staff Supervision: Oversee, guide, and manage all office staff, including computer operators, assistants, and support staff, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Coordination Between Management & Staff: Act as a bridge between senior management and employees, ensuring proper communication, task delegation, and issue resolution.
  • Team Coordination: Work closely with engineers, vendors, clients, and project site teams to ensure seamless workflow and timely project updates.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records, reports, bills, and correspondence, ensuring proper documentation and reporting systems are in place.
  • Attendance & Office Management: Monitor staff attendance, leave records, office supplies, and facility maintenance.
  • HR & Task Allocation: Assist in basic HR responsibilities, including task distribution, performance monitoring, and conflict resolution among staff.
  • Follow-ups & Communication: Ensure timely updates, follow-ups, and smooth communication across all departments.
  • Site Visits: Visit project sites or vendors whenever required (own vehicle mandatory; fuel allowance applicable).

Candidate Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in office administration or operations.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, staff-handling, and communication skills. Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and office systems is mandatory.
  • Ability to coordinate between management, engineers, and office staff effectively.
  • Must have own vehicle for office and site visits (fuel allowance provided if applicable).
  • Preferred Background: Experience in the civil/construction industry is an added advantage.
  • Age Limit: 40 to 45 years.
  • Salary: Up to 30k per month.
  • Working Hours: 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
  • Job Location: Jawahar Nagar

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
