Job Description

A. Daily Cleaning & Hygiene Maintenance  Clean and dust all workstations, computer systems, chairs, and tables every morning before working hours.  Maintain cleanliness of pantry/cafeteria, including wiping tables, shelves, and disposing of waste.  Ensure all office areas, including corridors and restrooms, are tidy and organized.  Empty waste bins daily and dispose of garbage in designated disposal areas.  Check and maintain cleanliness of restrooms, ensuring soap, tissue, and air fresheners are available.    B. Pantry & Hospitality Services  Prepare and serve tea/coffee twice a day (morning and evening) to all employees and guests.  Refill pantry supplies (tea, sugar, milk, tissue, etc.) and drinking water bottles as needed.  Serve water/refreshments to guests, especially during meetings or visits.    C. Office Organization & Support  Ensure all items (stationery, files, supplies) are placed in their designated areas.  Support staff with internal errands, such as carrying files, documents, and delivering printouts.  Assist in setting up workstations for new joiners, including water bottles, notepads, and cleanliness.    D. Reception & Guest Management  Greet visitors and walk-ins politely and inform the concerned person of their arrival.  Maintain the reception area, ensuring it looks clean, organized, and professional.  Provide basic hospitality to guests, such as water or tea/coffee.    E. Electrical & Safety Measures  Switch off unused electrical appliances (lights, fans, ACs, etc.) to conserve energy.  Perform a basic visual check of appliances and report faults to the admin immediately.  Follow office safety protocols, including locking doors and switching off equipment when closing the office.    F. External Office Support  Visit nearby shops or vendors to collect or purchase office supplies, stationery, parcels or other required items as directed.      WEEKLY TASKS  Clean all glass surfaces (windows, glass doors, partitions) to maintain a polished and professional look.  Check and clean noticeboards, signage, and office nameplates.  Deep clean restrooms, ensuring tiles, sinks, and mirrors are spotless.    BI-WEEKLY TASKS (Every 15 Days)  Clean electric appliances, such as fridge, microwave, oven, and water dispensers.  Inspect pantry and store room for expired or unused items and inform admin.    MONTHLY TASKS  Deep clean ceilings, fans, and lighting fixtures to prevent dust buildup.  Check inventory of cleaning and pantry supplies, and update admin with the requirement for reordering.    OTHER OCCASIONAL DUTIES  Assist with internal events, meetings, or office celebrations by arranging seating, serving snacks, and post-event clean-up.  Support in preparing the meeting/conference room by arranging chairs, checking equipment, and ensuring supplies are available.  Assist with handling couriers, receiving and dispatching letters/packages and maintaining records if required.    SUSTAINABILITY & HYGIENE COMMITMENT  Practice eco-friendly routines, such as turning off lights, fans, Acs etc when not in use and minimizing wastage of water or electricity and regular watering to the plants.  Maintain a hygienic and clutter-free environment to ensure a healthy workplace for all employees.
