Conduct assessments to evaluate motor skills, sensory-processing abilities, daily living skills, and functional limitations.
Develop individualized treatment plans and therapy goals based on client needs.
Provide therapeutic interventions including fine-motor training, sensory integration, ADL (Activities of Daily Living) training, and functional mobility exercises.
Recommend and train patients in the use of adaptive equipment, splints, or assistive devices.
Monitor and document client progress, adjusting therapy plans when needed.
Educate family members, caregivers, and teachers on strategies to support functional independence.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physiotherapists, psychologists, speech therapists, and special educators.
Maintain ethical standards, confidentiality, and safety protocols
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy (BOT/MOT).
Valid license/registration as required by local regulatory authority.
Strong knowledge of therapeutic techniques, motor development, sensory integration, and rehabilitation methods.
Ability to assess functional abilities and create customized therapy plans.
Good communication, patience, and interpersonal skills.
Physical stamina to assist clients with exercises and mobility tasks.
