Job Responsibilities – Occupational Therapist

• Assess physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities of patients
  

• Develop personalized therapy plans to improve daily living skills
  

• Support patients in regaining independence in self-care, work, and leisure activities
  

• Use therapeutic techniques and adaptive tools to enhance motor and sensory skills
  

• Guide caregivers and families on home-based therapy and environmental modifications
  

• Collaborate with doctors, physiotherapists, psychologists, and special educators
  

• Maintain clear and accurate patient records
  

Skills Required

• Strong understanding of human development and rehabilitation techniques
  

• Skilled in assessment, planning, and therapy execution
  

• Patience, creativity, and problem-solving ability
  

• Good interpersonal and communication skills
  

• Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams
  

• Sensitivity to the physical and emotional needs of patients
  

• Proficiency in Malayalam preferred; basic English is an advantage
