Occupational Therapist

Assessment & Planning: Evaluate clients' physical, cognitive, emotional, and social abilities through observation and standardized assessments. Develop individualized treatment plans and therapy goals. Therapy Implementation: Deliver therapeutic interventions focused on improving self-care, motor skills, sensory processing, coordination, and daily functioning. Use adaptive techniques and equipment as needed. Client & Family Education: Train clients and caregivers on exercises, adaptive strategies, and home programs to reinforce therapy goals outside of sessions. Collaboration: Work with a multidisciplinary team including physiotherapists, speech therapists, doctors, special educators, and social workers to deliver coordinated care. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of assessments, progress notes, therapy sessions, and discharge plans. Prepare reports as required by the organization or funding agencies. Equipment & Environment Modification: Recommend and guide the use of assistive devices, mobility aids, or environmental modifications to support independence in daily life.
