Job Summary: We are looking for a qualified and motivated Occupational Therapist with 0-2 years of experience to join our specialized team at ReHabit Neuro Rehab centre. The successful candidate will evaluate patients and implement effective, evidence-based occupational therapy treatment plans focusing specifically on individuals recovering from neurological conditions like Spinal Cord Injury, Stroke, and Traumatic Brain Injury. This role involves working collaboratively within our multidisciplinary team to provide holistic, patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive OT assessments tailored to neurological populations (SCI, Stroke, TBI, etc.), evaluating physical, cognitive, perceptual, psychosocial, and environmental factors.
• Develop individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans focusing on maximizing functional independence in ADLs, IADLs, work/leisure.
• Implement evidence-based OT interventions specific to neurological conditions (e.g., upper limb rehabilitation, cognitive retraining, ADL adaptation for SCI, perceptual-motor training, community reintegration strategies).
• Prescribe, procure, and train patients/caregivers in the use of adaptive equipment and assistive technology.
• Conduct home/environmental assessments and recommend modifications.
• Monitor patient progress, adapt treatment plans, and document outcomes meticulously.
• Maintain accurate, timely patient records according to centre standards.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, therapeutic techniques, home programs, and compensatory strategies.
• Collaborate closely with Physicians, Physiotherapists, Speech Therapists, Psychologists, and other team members within ReHabit.
• Participate actively in team meetings, case conferences, and departmental training focused on neuro-rehabilitation.
• Stay updated with current evidence and best practices in neurological occupational therapy.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy (BOT).
• Experience: 0 to 2 years of clinical experience as an Occupational Therapist.
• Licensure: Valid license/registration (or eligibility) to practice Occupational Therapy in India/Kerala.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Foundational knowledge of OT principles, with an interest in applying them to neurological conditions.
• Good assessment and clinical reasoning skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal/written).
• Empathy, patience, and a compassionate approach.
• Ability to work effectively in a specialized multidisciplinary team.
• Good organizational skills.
• Willingness to learn and develop expertise in neuro-rehabilitation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
