Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Observability Monitoring Engineer to join our team for the GDC project, focusing on the development and enhancement of Grafana dashboards within Hyperion. The primary responsibility will be to visualize data flows between GDC components and implement robust alerting mechanisms that integrate seamlessly with our existing operations systems. The ideal candidate will have advanced expertise in observability tools and a strong background in cloud and infrastructure monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain advanced Grafana dashboards to visualize data flows and system metrics.
Integrate and configure observability tools such as Prometheus, OTEL (Open Telemetry), Tempo, and Prometheus Alerting.
Write and optimize PromQL queries for custom metrics and alerting.
Implement and maintain alerting solutions that integrate with existing operations systems.
Collaborate with development and operations teams to define and develop new metrics.
Work with Loki for log aggregation and visualization.
Support data analysis and reporting using Databricks/Spark, SQL, Python, and PowerBI.
Contribute to infrastructure automation using Terraform and Azure services.
Document dashboards, alerting rules, and operational procedures.

Required Skills:
