Responsibilities
Schedule nurses’ shiftsAssign nurses to patientsEnsure nursing operational standards are metProvide reports on productivity, quality and customer service metricsEnsure all nurses follow policies and proceduresTrain new team membersEvaluate nurses’ performanceInform family members about medical procedures and doctors’ instructionsHandle complaints or other issuesEstablish a compassionate environment by providing psychological support to patients, family and friendsKeep records of nurses’ files, patients’ cases and proceduresRequirements and skillsPrevious working experience as a Nursing Supervisor for (8) year(s)/Proven work experience as a nursing supervisorIn-depth knowledge of hospital proceduresThorough knowledge of legal regulations and best practices in healthcareTeam management skillsGreat communication and people skillsExcellent organizational and problem-solving skillsBSc or diploma in nursing; training in healthcare administration is a plusValid nursing license
