Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide exceptional in-home care for our senior clients. The ideal candidate will combine their clinical expertise with a genuine passion for geriatric care. You will be responsible for a wide range of duties, from clinical monitoring and personal care to providing companionship and specialized memory support. This role is perfect for a nursing professional who excels in building trusting relationships and making a direct, positive impact on the lives of others.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clinical & Everyday Tasks:

  Administer medications, monitor vital signs, manage care plans, and assist with general health management. Perform and assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) to ensure client comfort and well-being.

• Personal Care:

  Provide dignified and respectful assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.

• Mobility Assistance:

  Safely help clients with transfers, walking, and light exercises to maintain their mobility and prevent falls.

• Memory Care:

  Implement specialized strategies and activities for clients with dementia or Alzheimer's, ensuring a safe, calm, and engaging environment.

• Companionship:

  Act as a trusted companion by engaging in conversation, hobbies, and social activities. Provide emotional support and help alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.

• Technology Assistance:

  Assist clients with using technology such as smartphones, tablets, and telehealth platforms to connect with family and healthcare providers.

• Coordination & Reporting:

  Maintain detailed care notes and communicate effectively with the client's family and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.

Qualifications:

• Degree or Diploma in Nursing (B.Sc. Nursing, GNM, or equivalent).
• Valid and current registration with the state nursing council.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of nursing experience, preferably in geriatric care, home health, or a related field.
• Certified in CPR and First Aid.
• Proven experience in providing personal and memory care.
• Excellent communication, patience, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and make sound judgments in a home care setting.
