Pet Care Specialist

This is more than just a job; it's a chance to spend your days with incredible animals and make a real difference in their lives and the lives of their owners.

Services You Will Provide:

You will be trained and assigned to provide one or more of our premium services based on your experience and preference:

• 🐾 Boarding:

   Welcome pets into your own safe and loving home for overnight stays.

• 🏠 House Sitting:

   Care for pets in the comfort of their own home, ensuring their routine is undisrupted.

• ❤️ Drop-In Visits:

   Visit a pet's home for feeding, potty breaks, playtime, and giving medication.

• 🐶 Doggy Day Care:

   Supervise and entertain a group of dogs in a fun and safe environment.

• 🚶 Dog Walking:

   Provide individual or group walks, ensuring dogs get their daily dose of exercise and mental stimulation.

• ...And Many More!

   Including pet taxi services, basic grooming, puppy/kitten care, and specialized care for senior or special-needs pets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Adhere to all pet care instructions provided by the client, including feeding schedules, portion sizes, and dietary restrictions.
• Administer medications as directed.
• Provide regular exercise, playtime, and enrichment activities.
• Maintain a clean environment for the pet, including cleaning litter boxes, crates, and any messes.
• Send daily updates, including photos and videos, to clients to keep them connected with their pets.
• Ensure the safety and security of pets and the client's property at all times.
• Handle dogs of various breeds, sizes, and temperaments with confidence and skill.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• A genuine and demonstrable love for all animals is non-negotiable.

• Previous experience in professional or personal pet care (pet sitting, vet clinic, animal shelter, etc.) is highly preferred.
• Utmost reliability, punctuality, and integrity. Our clients trust us with their beloved family members.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-centric attitude.
• Ability to remain calm and act professionally in emergency situations.
• Must be physically fit to walk and handle active dogs.
• Must own a smartphone for communication and sending updates via our app.
• Flexibility to work on weekends and public holidays is a major plus.
• Certification in Pet First Aid & CPR, experience with animal behaviour, or owning a vehicle.
