Job Description

Main purpose of the role

Responsible for implementing and supervising nursing services in the outpatient services
Implements nursing care in accordance with program procedures established by Psychiatrist and approved by the Head of Operations.
Organizes outpatient schedules and supervises the day to day running of the outpatient clinic, and ensures that best practice and licensing compliance is in place.
Undertakes booking and answering of the phone for appointments, and allocation of clients to therapists.
Take payments for clients booking sessions, or enrolling on programs as as per company policy.
Uploading of clinical reports onto the portal and completion of any clinical notes.
Undertake random drug and alcohol testing on clients and staff when required.
Ensures smooth and seamless work with partnering hospitals / diagnostic companies for additional testing, screening and consultations.
Ensure clients receive their prescriptions, and information of medications following Psychiatric consultations promptly

Main duties

Duties specific to the Lead Nurse include:
Administering drugs, medications, treatments, inoculations, and tests as allowed by law.
Implementing verbal physician orders and authenticating in writing, within a reasonable time, and included in the patient record
Communicating with psychiatrist, physicians, nurses, and pharmacists and therapists
Completing other tasks within the scope of registered nurses and the program services and procedures.
