Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Perform and interpret nuclear medicine imaging studies including PET-CT.
Conduct radionuclide therapies following established protocols.
Review and approve nuclear medicine procedures ensuring patient safety and diagnostic accuracy.
Provide consultations to referring clinicians regarding imaging findings and radionuclide therapy suitability.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and clinical case discussions.
Supervise NM technologist in daily operations and ensure compliance with radiation safety norms.
Ensure adherence to AERB/IAEA and local radiation protection standards.
Oversee proper documentation, reporting, and record-keeping for all nuclear medicine procedures.

Preferred candidate profile

Strong expertise in nuclear medicine imaging interpretation and radionuclide therapy.
Proficiency in PET-CT.
In-depth understanding of radiation physics and safety regulations.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Commitment to ethical clinical practice, accuracy, and patient safety.
