Role Overview: The Nuclear Medicine Consultant will be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine services, including PET-CT, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety standards. The role requires collaboration with oncology, radiology, and clinical teams to deliver comprehensive cancer care. Key Responsibilities: Perform and supervise Nuclear Medicine procedures including PET-CT, SPECT, and radionuclide therapies. Provide accurate interpretation and timely reporting of scans. Ensure compliance with AERB and other regulatory guidelines for Nuclear Medicine. Oversee radiation safety protocols for patients and staff. Participate in tumor board meetings and multidisciplinary discussions. Guide and train junior doctors, technicians, and support staff. Maintain patient records, documentation, and quality assurance standards. Contribute to research, academic, and CME activities of the department. Qualifications & Experience: MD/DNB in Nuclear Medicine (or equivalent qualification recognized by NMC). Valid AERB license/registration is mandatory.
