Job Description

Nuclear Medicine Consultant

Role & responsibilities

Supervise and interpret
PET-CT
,
SPECT
, and other nuclear medicine scans.
Ensure adherence to radiation safety protocols and AERB guidelines.
Oversee equipment quality control and calibration.
Collaborate with oncologists, radiologists, and referring clinicians for multidisciplinary care.
Maintain accurate reporting and patient records.
Participate in departmental meetings, audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
Support expansion into therapeutic nuclear medicine services (as planned in future).

Preferred candidate profile

Candidates with experience in both
diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine
will be preferred.
Willingness to support
online reporting
or
consulting collaborations
alongside institutional practice.

Qualifications & Experience

MD / DNB / DRM in Nuclear Medicine from a recognized institution.
Valid AERB certification / license.
Minimum
25 years
of experience in nuclear medicine reporting (PET-CT preferred).
Strong diagnostic and interpretative skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
