NPI Process Engineer

As an NPI Process Engineer at Orbit & Skyline India Pvt. Ltd., you will play a crucial role in supporting the manufacturing and QA departments to develop robust manufacturing processes for new parts. Your responsibilities will include reviewing new part drawings, identifying manufacturability concerns, determining appropriate manufacturing processes, implementing quality and reliability techniques, and optimizing the NPI process. - Review new part drawings and collaborate with manufacturing and QA teams to identify potential manufacturability concerns. - Analyze part complexity, tolerances, and material specifications to determine suitable manufacturing processes for prototyping and production phases. - Utilize quality engineering and reliability techniques such as FMEA and DFMEA to identify and address potential quality risks. - Develop and implement an efficient NPI process to minimize design cycle time and reduce costs. - Continuously enhance the NPI process through data analysis and feedback. - Create process flow charts and detailed operation sheets for new parts, including input materials, processing steps, outputs, and quality control points. - Select appropriate equipment and machinery, design production layouts, specify tooling requirements, and develop inspection plans. - Collaborate effectively with internal teams to ensure successful implementation of developed processes. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical. Preference will be given to Masters (Mechanical or Production). - Minimum 3+ years of experience in NPI process engineering within a manufacturing environment. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Effective communication and collaboration skills.
