Today the bulk of our products operate in the Impulse category. Our best seller is DESi POPz, we sell more than 90 lakh POPz thly. Our other categories include DESi Meetha, DESi Mints, and DESi Bytes. We have an integrated backend i.e. we own the entire supply chain from sourcing to manufacturing.

Brief:

Were looking for a passionate and proactive NPD Intern to join our team. This role is ideal for students who are en siastic about product development, food in ation, and learning through hands-on work. You will work closely with the NPD Manager and support the team in developing exciting new DESi products.

Job Responsibilities:

Support the day-to-day operations of the NPD Manager in product development activities.
Assist in sample preparation, sensory evaluation, shelf-life, and stability testing.
Aid in maintaining accurate documentation and tracking progress to meet project timelines.
Contribute to regulatory compliance by helping ensure adherence to FSSAI, FDA, ISO, and labeling standards.
Be actively involved in the trial and testing phases of new product launches.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (procurement, production, and keting) to ensure smooth development processes.

Requirements:

Students currently pursuing a Bachelor s or Master s in Food Science & Technology or Food Science & Engineering from reputed institutes.
Strong understanding of food science, processing equipment, and machinery.
Knowledge of sensory analysis, ingredient functionality, and ingredient interactions.
Experience or academic exposure to lab trials, handling sample testing, and food safety regulations.
Awareness of the Desi-sweets ket is a plus.
Must be fluent in Hindi & English (regional languages are a bonus).
