Job Description

As a Managed Services Cross Technology Engineer (L1) at NTT DATA, you will play a vital role in providing managed services to clients, ensuring the continuous operation of their IT infrastructure and systems. Your primary responsibility will be to proactively identify, investigate, and resolve technical incidents and problems, thereby restoring service to clients and meeting service level agreement conditions. Your key responsibilities will include monitoring client infrastructure and solutions, identifying and resolving incidents and problems, providing telephonic or chat support to clients, scheduling maintenance activities, reporting and escalating incidents when necessary, and ensuring efficient incident and request resolutions. You will also be involved in updating knowledge articles, identifying optimization opportunities, and contributing to project work when required. To excel in this role, you should possess the ability to communicate effectively across different cultures, plan activities in advance, maintain a positive outlook at work, thrive in a pressurized environment, and prioritize client satisfaction. You should also demonstrate active listening skills, adaptability to changing circumstances, and a strong work ethic. In terms of qualifications, a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT/Computing is required, along with relevant certifications such as CCNA, Microsoft Certified, AWS Certified, Veeam Certified Engineer, VMware Certified Professional, and others. Entry-level experience in troubleshooting and providing support in security, network, data center, systems, or storage administration within a medium to large ICT organization is essential, as well as a basic knowledge of ITIL processes. This position involves on-site working at NTT DATA, a trusted global innovator of business and technology services with a commitment to helping clients innovate, optimize, and transform for long-term success.
