✅ Job Responsibilities

As a Node.js Developer, you will be responsible for building scalable backend services and contributing to product features that impact real users. You must have solid experience in writing clean, maintainable code and a deep understanding of backend development principles.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Developing RESTful APIs and backend logic using Node.js (Express.js/NestJS)

Writing efficient and reusable code, following best practices

Integrating third-party APIs and internal microservices

Working closely with frontend developers, DevOps, and QA teams

Designing database schemas and writing optimized queries (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, etc.)

Participating in code reviews and mentoring junior developers

Debugging production issues and optimizing performance

Writing unit/integration tests (Jest, Mocha, etc.)

🎯 Requirements

1–3 years of hands-on experience in Node.js backend development

Strong understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), asynchronous programming, and REST APIs

Proficiency in using Express.js or NestJS frameworks

Experience with databases like MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL

Familiarity with Git, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines

Good understanding of security best practices (e.g., JWT, OAuth, rate limiting)

Knowledge of message brokers (RabbitMQ, Kafka) is a plus

Strong debugging and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

⭐ Preferred Skills (Bonus Points)

Experience with TypeScript

Experience with AWS or cloud platforms

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes
