What you'll learn and do: Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Writing and testing Node.js code under the guidance of senior developers. Assisting in the development and maintenance of RESTful APIs. Working on bug fixes and troubleshooting issues. Collaborating with the team on project planning and execution. Participating in code reviews and providing constructive feedback. Contributing to documentation efforts. Researching and learning new technologies relevant to the project. Experimenting with Cursor AI to generate and optimize code snippets. Developing and refining prompts for Cursor AI to achieve desired outputs. Attending daily stand-up meetings and providing updates on progress. Contributing to team knowledge sharing sessions. Overall Learning Objectives: Develop and maintain Node.js applications under mentorship. Learn to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code. Assist in the integration of APIs with front-end developers. Learn to troubleshoot and debug common issues. Gain practical experience with Cursor AI for code generation and optimization. Develop your skills in crafting effective prompts to leverage the power of Cursor AI. Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing. Contribute to ongoing projects and learn from experienced developers. What we're looking for: Strong proficiency in English (written and spoken). Basic understanding of Node.js and its core concepts. Eagerness to learn and a strong work ethic. Familiarity with basic programming concepts. Interest in and willingness to learn about Cursor AI. A desire to develop your prompt generation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Bonus points for: Familiarity with Git and version control.
