Senior Node.js Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend services using

  Node.js, Express.js, and Nest.js

  .
• Design

  RESTful APIs

  and integrate third-party services.
• Implement microservices architecture for scalability and efficiency.
• Work with

  databases

  such as

  MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Redis

  .
• Write efficient, reusable, and testable code following best practices.
• Optimize applications for

  performance and scalability

  .
• Collaborate with

  frontend developers, DevOps, and other team members

  .
• Implement

  authentication and authorization

  mechanisms using JWT, OAuth, or similar technologies.
• Ensure

  security best practices

  in API and backend development.
• Work with

  CI/CD pipelines

  and deployment strategies.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in production and staging environments.
• Write

  unit and integration tests

  using Jest, Mocha, or Chai.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in

  Node.js backend development

  .
• Strong expertise in

  Express.js, Nest.js, or Koa.js

  .
• Proficiency in

  JavaScript, TypeScript

  , and modern ES6+ features.
• Experience with

  SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis) databases

  .
• Knowledge of

  message queues

  like RabbitMQ, Kafka, or Redis Pub/Sub.
• Familiarity with

  Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)

  .
• Hands-on experience with

  GraphQL (Apollo, Hasura) is a plus

• Experience in

  writing unit and integration tests

  .
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Excellent understanding of

  asynchronous programming and event-driven architectures

• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with

  Serverless Frameworks (AWS Lambda, Firebase Functions)

• Knowledge of
