About the Role

Next Big Technology is looking for a talented Node.js Developer to join our in-house team in Jaipur. You’ll work on creating and improving backend systems, real-time chat applications, and APIs. If you enjoy solving problems, writing clean code, and building scalable applications, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend logic using Node.js.
• Build real-time features like chat and notifications using Socket.io.
• Create and manage RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Ensure applications are fast, secure, and scalable.
• Work closely with front-end developers and other team members.
• Troubleshoot and fix bugs or performance issues.
• Write clean, well-documented, and reusable code.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Node.js and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience with Socket.io for real-time applications.
• Good understanding of Express.js and RESTful APIs.
• Experience working with databases like MongoDB or MySQL.
• Basic knowledge of Git for version control.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of TypeScript, Redis, or WebSockets.
• Understanding of cloud services (AWS, DigitalOcean, etc.).
• Familiarity with front-end technologies like React or Angular.
