Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Node.js Developer to join our backend development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining scalable server-side applications and APIs. You will collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and other team members to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services using Node.js.
• Write clean, reusable, and scalable code.
• Design and optimize databases using MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Implement security and data protection best practices.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Participate in code reviews and agile development processes (sprints, standups, etc.).
• Optimize applications for performance and scalability.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with Node.js frameworks like Express.js, Nest.js, or similar.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and WebSockets.
• Familiarity with MongoDB, MySQL, or other relational/noSQL databases.
• Understanding of asynchronous programming, event-driven architecture, and best practices.
• Familiarity with Git and version control tools.
• Experience with containerization tools (e.g., Docker) is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of GraphQL, Redis, or Kafka.
• Experience in deploying applications to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred but not mandatory if skillset is strong).
