About the position

Newsletter & Writing Mentor - Empower Young Voices Through Writing

We’re looking for a Newsletter & Writing Mentor to guide school students in launching and running their own newsletters—covering everything from editorial planning and creative writing to design and publishing.

Roles and responsibilities:

• Mentor middle and high school students in writing, editing, and curating content
• Guide students in developing editorial calendars, themes, and story ideas
• Support students in using digital tools for layout and publishing
• Foster a love for reading, critical thinking, and creative expression
• Conduct workshops and one-on-one sessions to improve writing skills
• Provide editorial support and constructive feedback throughout the publishing process

Qualifications:

• BA/MA in Literature, Humanities, Journalism, or Social Sciences
• Prior experience in writing, editing, or mentoring (especially with school or youth publications)
• Strong communication, organizational, and creative thinking skills
• Familiarity with student-led publications or youth media is a plus

Location:

• Preferably Jaipur
