News Reporter

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather, research, and report news stories from Jaipur and surrounding districts.
• Cover political, social, crime, cultural, and community-based events and issues.
• Conduct interviews and field reports with government officials, political leaders, and the general public.
• Coordinate with cameramen and editors to deliver visually engaging and factual reports.
• Provide live reporting and updates during breaking news situations.
• Develop and maintain a strong network of sources, informants, and local contacts.
• File reports promptly with complete accuracy and clarity in Hindi (English and Rajasthani knowledge preferred).
• Follow Sudarshan TV’s editorial standards, ethical guidelines, and newsroom deadlines.
• Submit daily story plans and reports to the Bureau Chief.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Graduate in Journalism, Mass Communication, or a related discipline.
• 2–5 years of experience in TV or print journalism.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills in Hindi (Rajasthani dialect knowledge preferred).
• Familiarity with Rajasthan’s political, cultural, and social environment.
• Strong field reporting and news gathering ability.
• Basic knowledge of camera operations or field coordination will be an advantage.
