Position Title: News Reporter

Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dynamic News Reporter to join our editorial team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for researching, investigating, and delivering accurate, timely, and engaging news stories for print, digital, and broadcast platforms. The reporter should have strong communication skills, an eye for detail, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Research, investigate, and write news stories on current events, local issues, and breaking news.
• Conduct interviews with sources, eyewitnesses, experts, and stakeholders to gather accurate information.
• Verify facts and ensure accuracy, credibility, and ethical reporting standards.
• Create content for multiple platforms (print, online, and video).
• Attend press conferences, events, and field reporting assignments as required.
• Collaborate with photographers, videographers, and editors for story coverage.
• Meet deadlines and adapt quickly to breaking news situations.
• Maintain good relationships with sources, government bodies, and the community.
• Follow newsroom editorial policies and journalistic ethics.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, or related field.
• Prior experience as a reporter, journalist, or correspondent preferred.
• Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong research and investigative skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and in high-pressure situations.
• Proficiency in digital media, social media, and multimedia reporting tools.
• Knowledge of current affairs, politics, business, and local issues.
• Willingness to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
