Job Title: Neurologist PhysicianJob Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Neurologist Physician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will specialize in diagnosing, treating, and managing disorders of the brain, spinal cord, nerves, and muscles. You will work with a diverse patient population, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality neurological care and improve patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and treat neurological disorders such as epilepsy, stroke, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, migraines, and neuropathies.
  • Conduct and interpret diagnostic tests including EEGs, EMGs, MRIs, and CT scans.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient history.
  • Prescribe medications and therapies as appropriate for neurological conditions.
  • Collaborate with neurosurgeons, physical therapists, primary care physicians, and other specialists for comprehensive patient care.
  • Monitor and follow up with patients to assess treatment efficacy and adjust care plans accordingly.
  • Educate patients and families about neurological conditions, treatment options, and preventative care.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development to stay updated on advances in neurology.

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
  • Completion of an accredited residency in Neurology.
  • Board certification or board eligibility in Neurology.
  • Valid and unrestricted medical license in the practicing state.
  • Excellent diagnostic and clinical skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Fellowship training in a subspecialty (e.g., Neurophysiology, Epilepsy, Stroke, Movement Disorders).
  • Experience using EMR/EHR systems.
  • Bilingual abilities (if applicable to the patient population).

Work Environment:

  • Inpatient and outpatient clinical settings.
  • Possible on-call rotations for hospital consultations.
  • May involve high-stress situations requiring quick decision-making and strong problem-solving skills.
