Job Description

Networking & Security Trainer

Key Responsibilities

Deliver training sessions on
Networking and Cybersecurity
concepts, tools, and practices.
Design, prepare, and update training materials, lab exercises, and assessments.
Conduct hands-on labs and practical demonstrations for learners.
Monitor learner performance and provide constructive feedback.
Stay updated with the latest trends in networking, information security, and cyber defense.
Prepare learners for
certification exams
(e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Security+, CEH, etc.).
Maintain training records, reports, and feedback for continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Networking & Security Trainer.
Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals (LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, Routing & Switching, Firewalls).
Good understanding of cybersecurity concepts (threats, vulnerabilities, SIEM, IDS/IPS, encryption, VPNs).
Hands-on experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and security tools.
Excellent communication, presentation, and mentoring skills.

Preferred Certifications

Cisco CCNA / CCNP
CompTIA Security+ / Network+
Fortinet / Palo Alto / Check Point certifications
