As a skillful Networking & Hardware Tutor at our esteemed Institution, your responsibilities will include: - Teaching students on Computer Hardware, Networking fundamentals, CCNA-level concepts, and troubleshooting. You will be expected to teach installation, configuration, and maintenance of routers, switches, access points, LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi networks, IP addressing, subnetting, VLANs, DHCP, DNS, as well as OS installation (Windows/Linux). - Managing the hardware lab by setting up and maintaining equipment such as routers, switches, cables, patch panels, and crimping tools. You will need to ensure the proper functioning of all training devices and create sample networks for student practice. - Providing support to students by guiding them during practicals and real-time network setups. You will assist them in practicing cabling, configuration, and troubleshooting, while also monitoring their performance and providing feedback. Qualifications required for this role include: - Educational background in Diploma/ Degree in Computer Science/Hardware/Electronics/IT/ECE/Networking or relevant QR Certification like CCNA (Preferred), CompTIA A+/N+, MCSA/MCSE. - Technical skills such as strong knowledge of network devices (router, switch, AP, firewall basic), cabling, crimping, rack setup, IP addressing, subnetting, DHCP, DNS, NAT, VLAN, STP basics, Windows/Linux installation & troubleshooting, hardware assembly & maintenance, and the ability to teach both theory and practical concepts clearly. Experience needed for this position: - Minimum of 3 years in teaching or industry experience, with a background in repairing different brands such as Dell, HP, Lenovo, Acer, etc. - Experience with real-time network setups is considered an added advantage. Soft skills required: - Good communication and presentation skills. - Ability to explain technical concepts in simple language. - Patience and strong classroom management skills. - Problem-solving attitude.
