Role- Network Security Engineer (Firewall & C++) Salary - 10-20 LPA(Depending on experience) Location - Noida
We are seeking a skilled Network Security Engineer with strong expertise in C++ development and hands-on experience in firewalls and network security appliances. The ideal candidate will contribute to the design and development of high-performance security solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and compliance with modern security standards.
Responsibilities
Design and develop software in C++ for firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and network security tools.
Implement and optimize NGFW, IDS/IPS, and network traffic sniffers using frameworks like libpcap, nDPI, Netfilter/iptables, pfctl, eBPF.
Work on high availability (HA) setups including VRRP/CARP, clustering, and failover deployments.
Develop and integrate secure communication using Protobuf, gRPC, REST APIs, and contribute to VPN and credential provider solutions.
Ensure seamless log management and SIEM integration for monitoring and analysis.
Requirements
Proven experience in C++ programming with a focus on performance and security.
Strong background in firewalls, NGFW, and intrusion detection systems.
Knowledge of networking protocols, HA concepts, and clustered deployments.
Familiarity with secure API design, VPNs, and log/SIEM systems.
