ROLE SUMMARY: The Network Engineer partners with the field sales and support teams to guarantee the long-term success of our customers. The Sales Engineer manages the pre-sales process, working as a liaison between customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our wireless solutions per customer needs. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, but are not limited to: Partner with our sales team to evaluate project scope and provide technical expertise Validate and assess current network and wireless infrastructure to build appropriate scope of work Write technical scope of work for deployment, including a bill of materials and estimated labor requirements Construct network installation plans utilizing Ekahau to read technical specifications Apply deep understanding of wireless and RF expertise to make sound, competitive, and high-quality recommendations REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: 5-7 years of experience in a technical, installation focused role Extensive knowledge of wireless technology with a focus on RF expertise Excellent communication skills with the ability to understand client needs and translate them into a project plan Strong understanding of Wi-Fi protocol and supporting equipment (such as Ruckus or HP) Experience using Ekahau and Visio to read technical specs and design install plans PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :(OPTIONAL) Experience in the hospitality industry Technical certifications: CCNA, CCWNA, or Ruckus WiSE Show more Show less
