Network Reconstruction Engineer

Role : Network Reconstruction Service Delivery

Function Name : Network Reconstruction

Purpose of the Role:

The Network Reconstructor is responsible for ensuring the timely and efficient network rehabilitation (rehab) as per

planning guidelines. This role involves working closely with building owners, customers, field technicians, and other teams to

deliver a seamless and high-quality service experience.

Roles and responsibilities:

• Secure permissions and convince stakeholders (e.g., building owners) to grant permissions for fiber laying and

deploying joint enclosure.

• Perform site surveys to assess installation and reconstruction requirements.

• Ensure proficiency in splicing, router configuration, and electrical knowledge is utilized for network rehab tasks.

• Ensure the effective utilization of the Vendor team resources.

• Ensure the timely migration of services and troubleshoot any connectivity issues during the rehab process.

• Escalate complex issues to higher-level support teams when necessary.

• Maintain accurate records of network infrastructure and configurations.

• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines in all field activities and report any safety hazards or concerns to the Team

Leader.

• Follow established processes and procedures for installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

• Provide feedback to management on potential solutions to enhance service levels and operational efficiency

Must have:

• Graduate/Diploma/ITI holder/Hsc in any discipline

• Splicing, Demonstrable electrical knowledge, networking preferred

• 1 5 years of work experience

• Proven hands-on experience in installation and troubleshooting of network equipment.

• Soft Skills: Strong experience in customer service and interaction, with proven ability to persuade stakeholders (e.g.,

convincing for permissions).
