What does a successful Network Provisioning Advisor do at Fiserv?

As a Network Provisioning Advisor at Fiserv, you will be responsible for supporting the installation, disconnection, and redesign of ATMs and network circuits including Ethernet, MPLS, AVPN, ISDN, and VPN. Your role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless provisioning of network services, enhancing operational efficiency, and maintaining robust connectivity solutions. This position directly contributes to Fiserv's mission by managing network fulfillment and collaborating with vendors and internal teams.

What you will do:

• Co-ordinate with connectivity vendors to order, disconnect, and redesign PVCs, ePVCs, MPLS, VPN, and Ethernet circuits.
• Co-ordinate with hardware vendors to order and ship equipment for clients.
• Create, update, and manage cases or tickets in provisioning tracking tools (NARS, SharePoint, ServiceNow).
• Serve as a customer contact point by engaging end-users (banks), vendors, and other business units via calls and emails; ensure all contact activities are logged in tracking tools.
• Contact customers to complete, edit, update, or verify Site Information Forms in a timely manner; notify Network Service Coordinator (NSC) upon task completion and log activities.
• Consistently update process-related documentation including spreadsheets, CMDB, ServiceNow, Visio diagrams, etc.
• Coordinate shared projects with other Fiserv business units.
• Routinely track orders to ensure vendor orders meet customer deadlines; update NSC, clients, and installation groups with status and escalate as needed.
• Attend project-related calls to ensure tracking and timely completion of projects.
• Work with associated FTS departments (Engineering, NOC, Perimeter Security, Install Desk, CM, Network Hardware, Billing, etc.) to properly implement services.

What you will need to have:

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent education in a related discipline.
• 10+ years of total experience in network operations.
• Experience in ordering circuits and hardware with vendors.
• In-depth knowledge of network provisioning terminologies.
• Preferably should have worked with US connectivity vendors such as AT&T, Verizon, Lumen, etc.
• Excellent communication skills; well-spoken and able to deal with clients and managers at various levels.
• Understanding of Ethernet, SD-WAN, Cloud, MPLS, AVPN, and VPN.
