Job Description

As a Sr. Network Engineer in the regional network operations team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the stability and reliability of the network. Your primary responsibilities will involve incident resolutions and change implementations. You should have a minimum number of years of experience in network security operations, implementation, and managing large network security platforms. Additionally, experience in network implementation including routers, switches, SD-WAN, Firewall, and LB is essential. Familiarity with ITSM processes such as incident, change, and problem management is required. You should possess hands-on experience in setting up high-availability, multi-layer datacenter networks. Proficiency in utilizing network monitoring tools like SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios, etc., is expected. Holding industrial professional certifications such as CCNP, PCNSE, and NSE-7 would be advantageous. A solid understanding and practical experience in Cisco Router and Switches (ASR, ISR, Nexus, Catalyst) are necessary. In-depth practical knowledge of advanced IP routing and switching technologies, especially BGP, EIGRP, SDWAN, OSPF, PBR, QOS, ECMP, VRRP, HSRP, and VPC, are crucial for this role. In addition to the primary skills mentioned above, having a curious mindset and being willing to learn and adapt to evolving technologies in the financial industry is essential. Familiarity with SASE solutions like Zscaler and Prisma Access is beneficial. Experience in Network Automation would be a plus. Understanding regulatory requirements from authorities like MAS, RBI, etc., is valuable. Previous experience as an IT professional in banking or financial institutions is advantageous. You should be open to working in a 24*7 rotational shift and on-call model if necessary.,
