Network & IT Support Engineer

Role Overview: As a network support engineer, your main responsibility is to maintain the computer hardware, software, accessories, networking, and online Windows & Linux Hosting servers for effective internal and external communication within the organization. Your tasks will involve upgrading the communications infrastructure, installing new systems for specific project needs, and ensuring the capacity of internal networks to meet business demands without interruptions. Key Responsibilities: - Design, install, and maintain communications, file sharing, and general IT resources used by the organization - Attend and resolve client-reported issues within the specified SLA timeframe - Provide timely resolutions for all tickets in the support domain - Respond to customer inquiries and prepare quotations for services like Webhosting, Google Apps, and Email servers - Coordinate with hosting vendors to maintain online web and mail servers - Install new software and hardware, set up user accounts, permissions, and passwords - Oversee system security, fix network faults, provide technical support, and train staff - Ensure network optimization, supervise helpdesk staff, maintain firewalls for network and data security - Optimize DNS records for efficient domain resolution and provide technical support for end-users on Google Workspace-related issues Qualification Required: - Good communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and organizational skills - In-depth knowledge of networking and connectivity - Degree or diploma in Computer Science, IT, or a related field - Certifications are a plus - Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience is preferred,
