Experience

: 7+ Years

Primary Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience with SilverPeak SD-WAN (EdgeConnect appliances)
  • Configuration and deployment expertise with Cisco Switches and Routing Protocols – OSPF, BGP

Secondary Skills

  • Good knowledge and hands-on experience with Cisco Wireless Controllers (WLCs) and Access Points (APs)

Key Responsibilities

  • Deploy and configure SilverPeak SD-WAN routers (EdgeConnect) and Cisco switches
  • Configure and troubleshoot routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP
  • Set up and maintain VPN tunnels and troubleshoot VPN issues
  • Hands-on with VoIP, HSRP, GLBP, STP, PVST+, IPSec site-to-site VPN, NAT/PAT
  • Commissioning and decommissioning of network components
  • Handle service restorations, service requests, and change requests
  • Coordinate with vendors for both ongoing operations and new implementations
  • Follow Change Control processes for submissions and approvals
  • Plan and implement network upgrades and migrations with minimal impact to end users
  • Create and update network diagrams using Visio
  • Develop and maintain up-to-date technical documentation
  • Must be willing to work evenings, weekends, and on-call as required for network maintenance or emergencies

Qualifications

  • Minimum 7 years of relevant hands-on experience in enterprise network environments
  • Expertise in SD-WAN technologies, especially SilverPeak
  • Advanced troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and team coordination skills
