Network Engineer L3

Role Overview

As an Team Lead, you will lead a team of L2 engineers providing 24x7 managed services. You will act as the technical escalation point, ensure SLA compliance, and coordinate with customer teams for change, patch, and performance management.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the 24x7 operations team for LAN/WAN monitoring and management across Cisco Nexus switches and WAN links.
• Provide L3-level troubleshooting and resolution for complex incidents and escalations.
• Drive incident response, RCA preparation, and customer presentations.
• Oversee configuration backup, patch/upgrade management, and change management activities.
• Create and review daily/weekly/monthly performance and utilization reports.
• Mentor and guide L2 engineers, conduct knowledge-sharing sessions, and provide training/hand holding.
• Actively coordinate with TAC, OEMs, and Service Providers for escalations and RMAs.
• Support customer teams in firewall management, performance optimization, and access control activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Graduate in Engineering or equivalent technical degree.
• 5-8 years of experience in enterprise network operations with proven leadership exposure.
• CCNP/CCIE (Routing & Switching/Data Center) certification preferred.
• Expertise in Cisco Nexus platforms, WAN/MPLS technologies, configuration, and performance management.
• Strong knowledge of ITIL processes and SLA-driven service delivery.
• Prior experience in leading teams in NOC/Managed Services environments.
