Network Engineer ( Field )

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation and Configuration:

• Installing and configuring network hardware, software, and related IT systems, including servers, routers, and firewalls.

• Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution:

• Diagnosing and resolving network issues, both remotely and on-site, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.

• Network Design and Implementation:

• Designing and implementing new network solutions, including network layouts, server configurations, and feature enhancements.

• Maintenance and Upgrades:

• Performing routine maintenance, upgrades, and system enhancements to ensure network reliability and security.

• Network Security:

• Ensuring the security of network systems and applications, including implementing security protocols and addressing potential vulnerabilities.

• Documentation:

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation of all network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting steps.

• Client Support:

• Providing technical support and guidance to clients, both on-site and remotely, to address their network-related needs.

• Collaboration:

• Collaborating with other IT teams, such as development and operations, to ensure seamless integration of network solutions.

• Staying Updated:

• Maintaining technical competency by staying current with new technologies and industry trends in networking.

• Technical Expertise:

• Strong understanding of networking technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, etc.), operating systems (Windows Server, etc.), and network security principles.

• Troubleshooting:

• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues effectively.

• Communication:

• Excellent oral and written communication skills for interacting with clients, team members, and stakeholders.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address network challenges.
