Position Details

Role: Network & Desktop Support Engineer

Department: IT

Employment Type: Full-time (6 days working per week)

Location: Alwar, Rajasthan

Role Summary

As a Network & Desktop Support Engineer, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the reliable operation of our IT systems. You will manage network infrastructure, provide end-user support, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and maintain security and performance across all desktop and network environments.

This role is ideal for a hands-on professional with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle both on-site and remote IT support efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain network equipment (routers, switches, firewalls) and desktop systems (PCs, laptops, peripherals).
• Monitor and optimize network and system performance.
• Troubleshoot connectivity, hardware, and software issues.
• Implement network security controls, backup systems, and disaster recovery plans.
• Perform system updates, patches, antivirus, and endpoint protection.
• Maintain documentation for IT infrastructure and asset records.
• Provide technical training and support to end-users.
• Collaborate with IT and cross-functional teams for technology initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Desktop Support Engineer and/or Network Engineer.
• Proficient in Windows, macOS, and Linux environments.
• Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN configuration, network troubleshooting, and security protocols.
• Familiar with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or CCNA preferred.
