Job Description

As an IT Support Specialist, your role involves resolving, maintaining, and managing clients" software/hardware/network based on service requests within defined SLAs. Your responsibilities include: - Installing, configuring, and maintaining all network services, equipment, and devices - Monitoring network performance, troubleshooting problems and outages - Programming routers, switches, and other network hardware - Configuring DNS servers and enforcing system standards - Managing system back-up and restore protocols - Planning and supporting network and computing infrastructure - Scheduling updates and upgrades - Proficient in rack server installation and cabling - Reading and understanding schematics and design documentation - Skilled in cable management for functionality and aesthetic purposes - Possessing excellent analytical and problem-solving skills - Ensuring effective administration of a new business network - Performing troubleshooting on all programs when required - Preparing post-mortem reports and performing trend analysis in case of system failures You should have the following qualifications: - Relevant degree in IT or related field - Certification in network administration or equivalent experience - Strong understanding of network infrastructure and hardware components - Proficiency in network monitoring tools and troubleshooting techniques No additional details of the company are provided in the job description.,
