In this role as a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructure solutions to meet business requirements and technological trends. Your key responsibilities will include: - Designing and planning network infrastructure solutions based on business requirements and technology trends. - Implementing and configuring network hardware and software, such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers. - Deploying and managing network protocols, routing, VLANs, VPNs, and other networking technologies. - Monitoring network performance, availability, and security. - Performing network troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve issues in a timely manner. - Conducting regular maintenance activities, including firmware upgrades, patch management, and configuration backups. - Planning and implementing network upgrades and expansions to support business growth and technological advancements. - Collaborating with capacity planning teams to forecast future network requirements. You should have a minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar role, hands-on experience with network hardware and software, and familiarity with network protocols and technologies. Preferred qualifications include industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, experience with network automation tools and scripting languages, and familiarity with cloud networking concepts. Your skills should include strong knowledge of network design and implementation best practices, proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting network hardware and software, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and effective communication and interpersonal skills.
