Network Architect (Python | Ansible | Cisco)

About the Role:

Network Architect

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance
network architectures
for enterprise and cloud environments.
Automate network configurations, monitoring, and deployments using
Ansible
and
Python scripts
.
Define and maintain
network standards, policies, and documentation
.
Work closely with cross-functional teams (Cloud, Security, DevOps) to ensure smooth network integration with infrastructure and applications.
Lead network automation initiatives and mentor junior engineers on scripting and automation frameworks.
Troubleshoot complex network issues and perform root cause analysis.
Optimize network performance and ensure compliance with best practices and security policies.
Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve network efficiency and reliability.

Required Skills & Experience:

10+ years
of professional experience in
network architecture, design, and implementation
.
Strong hands-on experience with
Cisco networking technologies
(Routing, Switching, Firewalls, Load Balancers).
Expertise in
network automation
using
Python
and
Ansible
.
Experience with
network monitoring tools
and
configuration management systems
.
Good understanding of
SDN, WAN, LAN, VPNs, and network virtualization
.
Experience integrating
network automation with CI/CD pipelines
is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Cisco certifications
such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent.
Experience with
cloud networking
(AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Familiarity with
REST APIs
,
YAML
, and
JSON-based automation workflows
.
