Job Description

**Role Overview:** With over five to ten years of relevant experience and a degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, automated production engineering, telecommunications, or network administration, you will join BBA as a valuable team member. Being bilingual in English and French, you will apply your excellent knowledge of networking concepts, experience with network equipment, virtualization, server administration, and fibre optics operating principles to contribute to innovative projects in the Energy and Natural Resources sector. **Key Responsibilities:** - Utilize your knowledge of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, VLAN, VPN, routing, firewalls, DNS, DHCP, etc. - Manage network equipment including switches, routers, firewalls from vendors like Cisco, Fortinet, HP, Aruba, etc. - Administer virtualization technologies like VMware, Hyper-V, Proxmox - Handle Windows (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPOs) and/or Linux server administration - Understand fibre optics operating principles including single-mode, multi-mode, connections, mitigation, etc. - Utilize experience in structured cabling and fibre optic installation as an asset - Leverage operational technologies (OT) experience and recognized certifications like Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Fortinet NSE, Microsoft, etc. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree or DCS in relevant fields - Bilingual proficiency in English and French - Excellent knowledge of networking concepts - Experience with network equipment and virtualization technologies - Familiarity with server administration and fibre optics operating principles - Asset: Experience in structured cabling and operational technologies - Asset: Recognized certifications in relevant fields **Additional Company Details:** BBA, a leading private consulting engineering firm in Canada, offers a comprehensive employee package including an annual base salary, premium programs, onsite mobility premium, time bank access, cellphone program, group insurance plan, retirement savings plan, vacation and sick leave, and opportunities for premiums through the Employee Referral program.
