**Job Description:** **Role Overview:** You will be responsible for maintaining the network infrastructure and systems of the company. Your role will involve ensuring the smooth operation of networking equipment, virtualization platforms, and server administration. Additionally, you will be required to have a strong understanding of networking concepts and be proficient in both Windows and Linux server environments. **Key Responsibilities:** - Manage and maintain network equipment such as switches, routers, and firewalls from various vendors including Cisco, Fortinet, HP, and Aruba - Implement and support virtualization technologies like VMware, Hyper-V, and Proxmox - Administer Windows servers including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy Objects (GPOs) - Monitor and troubleshoot network issues related to TCP/IP, VLAN, VPN, routing, firewalls, DNS, DHCP, etc. - Utilize knowledge of fibre optics operating principles for network connectivity - Experience with structured cabling and fibre optic installation will be considered an asset - Any recognized certifications such as Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Fortinet NSE, or Microsoft will be advantageous **Qualifications Required:** - Five to ten years of relevant experience in network administration - Bachelor's degree or DCS in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, automated production engineering, telecommunications, or network administration - Bilingual proficiency in English and French - Excellent knowledge of networking concepts and equipment - Experience in virtualization and server administration - Knowledge of fibre optics operating principles - Certifications in relevant technologies will be an asset **About BBA:** BBA is a leading private consulting engineering firm in Canada with over 45 years of experience in serving clients in the Energy and Natural Resources sector.
