Job Description

As an IT Support Technician, your role involves providing onsite and remote support for IT infrastructure, networks, and ELV systems. Your responsibilities will include: - Identifying, diagnosing, and resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues. - Installing, configuring, and maintaining network devices such as switches, routers, firewalls, servers, PCs, and peripherals. - Performing structured cabling tasks, including UTP and fiber installations, patch panel termination, and rack dressing. - Installing CCTV, access control, Wi-Fi, IP phones, and related ELV systems. - Assisting with new site implementation, system upgrades, and equipment deployment. - Conducting periodic preventive maintenance for IT and ELV systems. - Maintaining accurate documentation for service calls, site visits, and project updates. - Ensuring timely reporting of job status through the CRM to the technical coordinator and team leader. - Interacting professionally with clients to understand technical requirements and provide solutions. Qualifications required for this position include a Diploma in IT (Preferred), 2 years of experience in IT support (Preferred), a valid Driving Licence (Required), and a willingness to travel 100% of the time (Preferred).
