Job Description

As a ServiceNow Platform Manager, you will lead technical assessments of various components such as hardware, software, tools, applications, firmware, middleware, and operating systems to ensure seamless support for business operations. Your key responsibilities will include: - Platform Management: Overseeing the daily operations of the ServiceNow platform to guarantee its availability, reliability, and optimal performance. - Configuration and Customization: Implementing configurations and customizations, such as workflows, business rules, UI policies, client scripts, and ACLs, to address specific business requirements. - User Support: Providing technical assistance to end-users, resolving issues related to the ServiceNow platform, and conducting training sessions when necessary. - Upgrade Management: Planning, testing, and executing platform upgrades with minimal service disruption and compatibility with existing configurations. - Integration: Managing integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems to ensure smooth data flow and process automation. - Knowledge of organization's roadmap and key project team members to achieve objectives. - Instance Security Oversight: Managing instance security, including access control, accounts, groups, roles, and delegated development. - Search Administration: Utilizing multiple search engines like Zing text indexing, search engine, and AI Search Start engine, along with search interfaces and widgets for global text search, service portal, NOW mobile app, mobile agent, virtual agent, agent assist, etc. - Events Knowledge: Understanding registry, states, logs, and script actions for effective event management. - Data Management: Viewing and configuring data, importing, exporting, and archiving database data, and configuring fields and tables. - Integration Knowledge: Collaborating with third-party applications and data sources for seamless integration. - User Administration: Managing users, groups, and roles effectively. - Metrics and Platform Performance: Monitoring metrics and optimizing platform performance. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining comprehensive documentation of configurations, processes, and procedures related to the ServiceNow platform.
