Job Description

Job Summary:

.NET Production Support Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Provide
L2/L3 production support
for .NET-based applications and services.
Monitor application health, performance, and logs using tools like
Splunk, AppDynamics, or similar
.
Analyze and resolve incidents, bugs, and performance issues within defined SLAs.
Collaborate with development teams to identify root causes and implement permanent fixes.
Perform
code debugging
and minor enhancements in C#, ASP.NET, and related technologies.
Handle
deployment activities
, configuration changes, and patch updates.
Document incident resolutions, root cause analysis, and preventive measures.
Participate in
on-call rotation
and provide support during non-business hours when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

2-4 years
of experience in
.NET application support
or development.
Strong knowledge of
C#, ASP.NET, MVC, Web API
.
Familiarity with
SQL Server
and ability to write/debug queries.
Experience with
IIS
, Windows Services, and application hosting environments.
Understanding of
production monitoring tools
(e.g., Splunk, AppDynamics, Dynatrace).
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of
incident management processes
and ITIL framework is a plus.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have:

Experience with
Azure or AWS cloud environments
.
Knowledge of
CI/CD pipelines
and deployment automation.
Familiarity with
Agile methodologies
.

Education:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
