Nesting Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Nesting Engineer to join our HVAC duct manufacturing team. The role involves preparing optimized nesting plans for sheet metal duct components using CamDuct software, ensuring minimal material wastage and efficient production. The ideal candidate must have strong technical knowledge of ducting systems and experience in nesting software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare nesting programs for ducting components using software like AutoCAD, CAMDUCT, or similar nesting/ software.
• Read and interpret ducting design drawings and translate them into accurate nesting files.
• Optimize material usage to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
• Coordinate with the design and production teams to ensure timely and accurate output.
• Maintain database of standard fittings, duct sizes, and machine parameters.
• Troubleshoot any nesting-related issues and provide prompt solutions.
• Generate production reports and maintain records of nesting files

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field.
• 2–5 years of experience in ducting fabrication/Nesting in HVAC industry.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, CAMDUCT, Nesting Software, and MS Office.
• Familiarity with sheet metal CNC machines (Plasma, Laser, Punching).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹273,704.31 - ₹719,298.12 per year
